After reading this chapter, I felt as if I already knew what was in the chapter. However, the chapter did further my knowledge on certain software. One thing I did not know was all the different types of software available. The section on Graphics and Multimedia Software was interesting to me. It will make the process of creating a web page much easier and less time consuming.
I enjoyed making the newsletter because I learned new short cuts on Word. I did learn the new tab feature which is helpful in making quizs/tests.

I agree that most of the stuff in this chapter seemed like old news. However I also did learn more about the different kinds of software and their actual names.
I really like your lay out. How did you get that? This is the first time I've ever used a blog so I really do know but the basics.
